Sorry for bad grammar, misspellings, etc.Have a read over - it documents how you can make a query to our service to get the metadata for an item, along with URLs that can be used to directly download the content. Help users configure onedrive the way they want it - A feature were you can upload Word documents and assign them folders in onedrive - Make Word better when collaborating with others as well as all the other Office services - Add a onetime purchase option for extra cloud space. ![]() All in all I think onedrive needs a lot of work aswell as the way it interacts with other Office services (Word, Powerpoint, etc.) Suggestions. It takes your files and "default" folders and uploads them to the cloud without permission. It is just sad that onedrive is not better than it is TL:DR In my experience Onedrive is very invasive. I think it is nice to have a cloud service that work on your pc without the need to open a browser. The speed and storage is not great either compared to services like google drive. I tried deleting onedrive from my pc altogether, but still did not work and newly saved files were uploaded to onedrive even though I could not access it. I did somewhat remove it, but could not access files that were both stored locally and on cloud. I did it because I felt Onedrive was very invasive, it grabbed all the "default" folders(Desktop, Download, etc.) and uploaded them to onedrive. Why is this a problem? Because the onedrive account that was doing all this was the onedrive account I recieved from the place where I study. I tried to remove one of the onedrive accounts on my pc with no luck. Onedrive did not even allow me to copy the files to the another onedrive account. There seems to be no chance for the file to only be stored locally. I cannot save any file of any sort without the file getting uploaded to the cloud, and I cannot always choose what onedrive account the file is uploaded to. ![]() Once a week my Microsoft Account will simply disconnect from my Samsung Account and stop automatically syncing. Syncing a photo can take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 day 4. OneDrive cannot sync the albums on my phone, only camera roll, if I want albums I have to recreate on OneDrive 3. Samsung Gallery doesn't have the storage capacity that OneDrive does, only the storage capacity of my phone so it will not sync my media in full (how is that a cloud service I can use?) 2. In the end I counted my losses, backed up what I could, cleared all the files and started from fresh only left with the following unsolvable problems: 1. ![]() All I did with customer support is try to explain my issues which was extremely difficult to get across and they never understood or resolved. I've LOST media files never to be returned, I've spent multiple hours (over the past 9 months) trying to sync up Samsung Gallery with OneDrive and neither Samsung or Microsoft resolved my issues blaming it on the other. / I used to sell Office 365 and I am digitally literate so this is not user error. I'm genuinely furious and upset by the whole experience because it ruined the progression of my business - I also lost sentimental photos that are irreplaceable, I also will not be able to locate them as they are random select photos that went missing from random folders from different dates? I wouldn't even know where to start as you guys want me to name them or tell me which ones are missing? Crazy right. Use another cloud service or risk syncing problems, slow syncing, lost files, lack of compatible storage (with Samsung Gallery) and wasted time. Worst product experience ever in all honesty.
